January and already giving my first apology

Aiii, it looks like this will be a year of apologies.

Public flogging may be required but I really have no excuse for missing the meet up! I am totally ashamed to say that I was simply under the influence (and am not a pleasant person when under the influence!) Otherwise I have just finished reading about the meet up and looks like a good time was had by all.

To be perfectly honest, I was also a bit scared of meeting people and finally exposing myself. What if I discover that one of the bloggers is someone I have known my entire life? like my sister or best friend....... AAARRRGGH! Shockhorror. I still somehow want to remain unknown and I do like the mystery of wondering what everyone looks like. But lam working up some courage for the next meet up! I swear and I promise!

So My first apology of the year goes to everyone who was at the meet up and specifically Aegeus.

Apology... accepted. I guess. The punishment is the realization that you missed one hella time.

Lakini as you say, it would be wierd if you happened to know someone that was a blogger. I am still questioning whether I know you or not!

Happy 2007!

Happy New Year .5. I dont think you need to apologise showing up at any meet up is ones choice not a must. Though I would have loved to see ya.

Happy New Year! I too wrestle with the thought of meeting fellow bloggers sometimes. However, there are so many that I would love to meet and hang out with.

Apologies NOT accepted!

That will be 50 seat-ups, 150 pressups for you, and that's daily.

And for the year 2007 you need to start and finish all your posts with "I HalfKenyaHalfSudan will never miss another meet up".

public fogging is SOOO medieval ... i suggest that you take a Public Finance class in our campus ... the lecturer is a real killer and would probably motivate you never to miss any other meet-up for the rest of your life

Good question to you ... why are you so afraid of a blogger turning out to be your sister? what is it that you have been hiding from them you cheeky girl?

I understand what you mean about maintaining the mystery of who the different bloggers are in real life. It could be awkward if you already know one of the people really well. You've probably learned new things about each other. Sometimes, it's easier to bare all with strangers coz they won't judge you based on your past; they'll just take you as you are.
